I prefer the second one! The colors are more vivid and unique, and the first one just... kinda looks like a not-too-great vector from the show. Which is impressive if it's your own, but it's much more impressive to see an artist learn to adapt a style and make it their own
I love both, it's not that one is better than the other. It's that they are both different styles, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If people decide to criticize one, just ignore it. They are looking specifically for the MLP style, which the first one has, but the second one is your own style. You can choose either, great work.
You certainly seem to have developed your own style, which is definitely a good improvement! I think the way you've done her mane looks a lot better than the first version, so well done Good improvement, In a short amount of time.
I can definitely see some improvement, as in, you developed more of your own style. The one on the left looks copied from the show, while the right one looks like you implemented some of your personal style into it. Good job. c:
I'm gonna take a guess and say most people like the older one because the newer one has her smiling and it scares the feck out of them lol
I like the After, her front legs look better placed, she doesn't look small? shrinked? like the other one and her tail is closer to her body, more natural looking then flat. Her eyes look a bit wonky to me, maybe a bit small but over all she looks fantastic, albeit creepy haha...
Her body kind of looks small in Before, where in After its much fuller? Sorry, heh I'm never been good at words.
If you look at her front and back legs in After, you'll see it looks much better and less stiff looking then the one in Before. I think it might have to do with, what people keep saying here, is that After looks more stylized while Before is closer to the show? Still, I can definitely see an improvement in JennieOo's art and its nice to see people improve.
Her body is show accurate in the before. Just like the rest, and I love the look. Oh no you're fine.
The back legs only sit that way because the bodies are different. Once again, in the show, that's how they would sit, what's demonstrated in before. And I like the stiffness anyway, looks good and suits the character. People would choose the stylized one if they liked it better, but people just don't like the design and opt for the earlier one haha.
